Here are my thumbnails for the Poster 2 project, where I will explain the concepts behind them.
The first is for a Cafe Bustelo advertisement. As their packaging is very vibrant and playful, I wanted that to come across in my design as the "coffee" dripping down will be the text itself, accompained with flags along the cups and background to further drive home the aesthetic.
The second middle sketch is for Gushers, a well-known gummy brand that has liquid on the inside, which is seen as a colorful explosion on their logo. I tried to emulate that with my design for the ad concept, where a hand is seen squeezing the text "Unstoppable Flavor". My chosen color scheme was rainbow for the text, with a light blue for the background.
On the last and third image shown, this is a concept for Chiquita bananas, where the way I will incorporate the text is through the peel being pulled back, revealing the "Ever" text. I also think that playing with the orientation of the text elevates the poster more, and I want it to be almost crawling across the banana. The color scheme will be mostly warm and vibrant, although I might go for a blue background to complement the brand.
On the first image for El Monterey Burritos, I wanted to go for a Southwestern, almost Tex Mex aesthetic that would suit the brand logo as well, so I tried to incorporate mountains (seen in the logo) and orient the text into the food item itself, which will blend in nicely with the bright orange and red colors.
The second image is for Poppi prebiotic sodas, which I first noticed in the grocery store for their playful and bright packaging, which I tried to capture in my poster by adding various circles and Bauhaus-style graphics.
The third image is a little confusing, but this is for a chocolate bar brand named Hu, which has a hand as the U for its logo, which I found interesting. Also, having sustainable packaging, I tried to bring that into my design through earthy tones and creating large squares, which I want to go for an aged chocolate look that will complement the colors well.
For the last and fourth image, this advertising design is for an oatmilk brand (Oat-ly). This design was one of my favorites, as I am excited to see how I can create the tree design out of the carton and incorporate it with text as shown in the sketch, as well as other ways in which I can enhance the background colors with the design.

This last sketch is for Graze cooking oil, which uses minimalist designs yet incredibly bold text that contrasts with the background, something that I wanted to incorporate into my poster without making it too spacious. Maybe some extra icons or shapes would balance out the composition, also I want to make the pans look a little more 3d.
Thank you for visiting!
